What Makes Synaptiq Different
Synaptiq Psychiatry is an interventional, technology-native practice designed to reduce friction and improve access without sacrificing quality.
- Mobile TMS care: For appropriate candidates, our mobile unit can bring treatment to you, reducing barriers like travel and missed work.
- Expanded availability (7 days/week): We offer appointments beyond the traditional workweek so patients can access care after work and on weekends. This flexibility makes it easier to stay consistent with treatment — especially for intensive schedules like TMS — without disrupting work, school, or caregiving responsibilities.
- Accelerated TMS options: When clinically appropriate, we offer accelerated formats intended to shorten time to relief while maintaining safety and rigor.
- Innovation pipeline: Through academic and industry partnerships, we stay connected to emerging neuromodulation approaches as they become clinically available.
- Streamlined patient experience: We continually improve our workflows to make onboarding, communication, and follow-up more efficient and patient-friendly.
Thank you again for considering Synaptiq Psychiatry. I look forward to meeting you and working together.
Warmly,
Jonathan R. Young, MD

Future Directions
Where Synaptiq Is Headed
Advanced Diagnostics
Our clinic aims to integrate advanced neurotechnologies to personalize brain stimulation therapies. Using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to precisely map neural circuits in conjunction with real-time electroencephalography (EEG) monitoring during TMS, we will be able to observe and modulate brain activity with unprecedented precision. This approach has the potential to optimize treatment outcomes and pave the way for cutting-edge psychiatric interventions.
Next-Generation Therapies
We are exploring next-generation therapies, including esketamine (Spravato) and psychedelic-assisted treatments, to help treat psychiatric disorders in novel ways. By targeting brain circuits differently from traditional medications, these approaches may provide faster relief from depressive symptoms. We are also evaluating virtual reality (VR) therapy, an innovative tool that may help patients safely practice coping skills and engage in therapeutic experiences in a more immersive way.
